Mouhamadou Madana Kane

Mouhamadou Madana Kane brings decades of experience supporting redesign of investment and trade frameworks, supporting governments in the design of national, regional and international frameworks. Mouhamadou has advised national governments and intergovernmental organizations and engaged in multilateral reform discussions. He worked as Chief Legal Counsel at the Islamic Development Bank, where he led design and negotiations around the proposed dispute settlement mechanism for the OIC Investment Agreement. Mouhamadou also founded the African Center of International Law Practice (ACILP), established as a center of research excellence and advisory support to ensure that public international law is accessible to, shaped by, and useful for African stakeholders. Mouhamadou currently serves as founding Chairman and CEO of iCapital Group. He brings over 17 years of experience in the financial and investment sector. Prior to founding iCapital Group, he served as Managing Director of the Islamic Bank of Senegal.
